On how many occasions quantities of "crack" were seized by the police during the first quarter of 1990, how many of those seizures occurred in the Metropolitan Police District, and what were the comparable figures for 1988 and 1989.
The Minister of State, Home Office (Earl Ferrers): Figures supplied by the police to the National Drugs Intelligence Unit, which may not be complete, indicate that during the first quarter of 1990 the police made 39 seizures of "crack", 25 of which took place in the Metropolitan Police District. Comparable figures for the same period of 1988 and 1989 are not available.
