To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will seek an increase in the science budget to renew United Kingdom membership of UNESCO.

My right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary is currently undertaking a review of United Kingdom membership of UNESCO and hopes to be able to announce the outcome in a few weeks' time.
