§ Mr. ScottWe have no plans to change the criteria governing eligibility for community care grants. Social! fund community care grants help people re-establish themselves or remain in the community, ease exceptional pressures on families and assist with certain travelling expenses. The social fund with its mixture of grants and interest-free loans provides extra help to those in receipt of income support.
