§ Mr. WakehamTotal expenditure by my Department on publicity and advertising in 1979–80 was £131,000. Final expenditure figures for 1989–90 are not yet available but the current forecast is £3,856,000. I am asking the chairmen of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Central Electricity Generating Board, Electricity Council and British Coal to provide their equivalent publicity and advertising figures direct to the hon. Member.
