§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe major element of the integrated development operation (IDO) programme, £108 million of European regional development fund grant, was allocated in 1988 following my visit to Brussels in February of that year. The United Kingdom Government are currently in discussion with the Commission about the availability of sufficient funding to complete the IDO.
