§ Mr. CopeThe Northern Ireland economy, like the United Kingdom economy, has experienced sustained growth since 1981. Latest figures show an impressive growth of manufacturing output recently. The prospects for 1990 are substantially dependent upon economic conditions in the United Kingdom economy as a whole.
