§ Mr. MacleanAll organophosphorous sheep dip products are subject to the licensing requirements of the Medicines Act 1968. A review of these products is currently under way as part of a wider review to ensure that all licensed veterinary medicines meet modern standards of safety, quality and efficacy. The review is expected to be completed early in 1992. My Department is also currently considering the guidance available on the disposal of sheep dips to see how this can be improved.
