§ Mr. CurryIn the 1989–90 financial year, 8,082 United Kingdom farmers notified the agriculture Departments of their intention to claim grant to help meet the cost of equipment to handle, treat and store farm waste under the farm and conservation grant scheme, and £20.41 million was paid for such grants under the scheme and its predecessor the agriculture improvement scheme.
