HC Deb 27 June 1990 vol 175 c286W
Mrs. Ann Taylor

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the information held by the Department of the Environment press office about daily ozone pollution levels is available to members of the public; and whether he plans to further improve the availability of information from the national air pollution monitoring network to the public.

Mr. Trippier

As announced last August when the low-level ozone public information system was set up, information is available to any member of the public who contacts the DOE press office (telephone number 071 276 3000—public inquiries unit) during episodes of elevated ozone levels. The Department is constantly looking at ways to improve its services.
