Whether they support the extension of competence of the EC Commission to negotiate air transport agreements with third countries.

Her Majesty's Government fully support the EC Commission in discharging duties laid on it by the Community in negotiating air transport matters with EFTA countries. Her Majesty's Government generally do not support the extension of Community competence on air transport negotiations beyond its present limits, and it is clearly premature for the EC Commission to seek to negotiate all air service agreements with third countries.
