§ Mr. EggarThe total budget allocated to training and enterprise councils in 1990–91 will be dependent on when individual training and enterprise councils become operational. To date the combined budget for the first 13 training and enterprise councils that have signed operational contracts is £215 million.
The extent to which training and enterprise councils will receive funding from the European Community 264W through the European social fund cannot be determined fully until individual projects are considered by my Department.
