To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the Ministry of Defence action in relation to Graeme Stewart and Allan Mulligan in Renfrewshire on Friday 1 June.

On 1 June at the royal ordnance factory, Bishopton, Graeme Stewart and John Allan Milligan were charged by officers of Strathclyde police with contravening section 1 of the Official Secrets Act 1911. A report was subsequently submitted to the procurator fiscal at Paisley. The matter was referred to crown office and crown counsel have instructed that there be no proceedings.
