The position remains as stated in my right hon. and learned Friend's reply to a question from my hon. Friend the Member for Hampstead and Highgate (Sir G. Finsberg) on 20 December at column 276 following the last meeting of Immigration Ministers. In the usual way my right hon. and learned Friend will report the outcome of the next meeting later this month.
