To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what amounts of plutonium are currently covered by international nuclear safeguards ageements worldwide.

The approximate quantities of material subject to International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards agreements at the end of 1989 are given in the first table on page 115 of the IAEA's annual report, a copy of which is available in the Library of the House.
