§ Mr. NichollsMy right hon. Friend will calculate and notify charging authorities of the national non-domestic rating multiplier for 1991–92 in the autumn. As the hon. Gentlemen will know, however, the multiplier cannot in future rise from year to year in real terms. This compares favourably with the 62 per cent. increase in real terms between 1979–80 and 1989–90 in the non-domestic poundage set by Bradford metropolitan borough council.
