§ Mr. FallonThe Department does not collect information on the dates of school holidays in England. Powers to determine the dates of school terms and holidays rest with the LEA in the case of county and controlled schools and with the governors of aided, special agreement and grant-maintained schools. The Department does not collect information about the dates of school terms and length of holidays in other countries.
