§ Mr. EggarMy right hon. Friend gives no general guidance to local education authorities on these matters. As far as assistance with pupils' course work for GCSE examinations is concerned, teachers are required in submitting course work to certify that the work is that of the candidate. My right hon. Friend from time to time receives correspondence on this issue.
