§ Mr. GristThe head of west division of Her Majesty's inspectorate of pollution (HMIP), based in Bristol, has overall responsibility for Wales. I have not yet had an opportunity to meet him, though our officials do so on a regular basis. There are also seven pollution inspectors with responsibility for Wales based in Cardiff.
