To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement about the latest number of in-patient cases treated by Barnet health authority.

Mr. Dorrell

During 1988–89, the latest year for which data are available, a total of 36,482 in-patient cases were treated by Barnet district health authority. That is 9 per cent. more than in 1979.
