To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he has any proposals to change the arrangements for the distribution of surplus beef and butter in the current year; and if he will make a statement.

I refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Pembroke (Mr. Bennett) on 28 June,Official Report, column 339. I have no plans to change the arrangements for the current year announced on that date.
