HC Deb 12 July 1990 vol 176 c307W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions with the Government of Sri Lanka have been held in respect of(a) the reported use of napalm in northern Sri Lanka and (b) the lack of access accorded to relief agencies in northern Sri Lanka; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Sainsbury

None. We have seen no evidence to support press reports alleging the use of napalm. We are in regular contact with relief agencies in Sri Lanka but have received no specific complaints about obstruction of their activities.
