§ Mr. RedwoodBoth Japan and the United States have made it clear that any trade benefits which result from the structural impediments initiative will be available multilaterally. The United Kingdom attaches particular importance to the continued movement from exports led to domestic demand-led growth in Japan and to the development of an environment within Japan which enables foreign companies more easily to acquire and develop businesses there.
