To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) if he will extend the know-how fund to include Czechoslovakia;

(2) if he will extend the know-how fund to include Romania.

Mr. Waldegrave

The extension of the know-how fund for Poland and Hungary to other reforming eastern European countries is under consideration.
