§ Lord Sanderson of BowdenSome 40 organisations and individuals responded to the invitation from my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Scotland to submit comments on this report, which was published on 23rd March 1989. The Government are considering the recommendations in the light of the comments received and our conclusions, which will have regard to any legislative implications, will be announced in due course.
