15. Mr. Riddick

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what savings have been achieved in respect of central administration costs of local education authorities as more responsibilities have been devolved to local schools.

We expect LEAs to secure the largest economies they can as schemes are implemented. This will allow as much money as possible to be delegated.
