To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will provide a list of the 20 most polluted rivers in Wales and give details of the most recent measurements of pollution in each of them.

This information is not available. However, the 1985 river water quality survey showed that 93 per cent. of all river lengths surveyed in Wales were in either class 1 or 2.
