To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he proposes to take concerning finances of the Erskine bridge.

[holding answer 3 December 1990]: Arrangements for the financing of the bridge beyond the end of the tolling period in 1991 are under consideration. No decision has yet been taken.
