§ Mr. SheermanTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects a report will be published on the experiment in three prisons whereby legally qualified clerks attended disciplinary adjudications. Mr. Mellor: A pilot scheme to provide qualified clerks to assist at board of visitors' adjudications is under way in 13 establishments and is being independently monitored. We expect to receive a report of that monitoring by the beginning of 1991 and hope then to publish it.
