§ Mr. ViggersTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he expects to be able to complete the process of deliberations with the European Community over a starch refund under regulation 1009/86 in respect of Avoparcin.
§ Mr. CurryAdditions to the list of products eligible for the Community starch production refund are decided by the Commission using powers exercised under the management committee procedure. I understand that the Commission is considering possible additions to the list, including that of Avoparcin, but is not yet in a position to make any firm proposal to the cereals management committee.
