§ 42. Ms. ArmstrongTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on Her Majesty's Government's policy towards Cyprus following the breakdown of the United Nations talks.
§ Mr. MaudeWe have worked actively to promote the adoption of UN Security Council resolution 649 on Cyprus. In line with it, we will continue to support UN efforts to bring about a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement to the Cyprus dispute.
