To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he expects to receive the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report on petrol retailing.

Following representations from the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, the Secretary of State has agreed that the reporting period should be extended to 20 December 1989.
