§ Mr. LilleyThe only available regional information on average per capita disposable income after taking account of mortgage repayments is from family expenditure surveys. Data for 1986 and 1987 combined are:

It should be noted that in accordance with FES definitions of disposable income the figures include imputed income from owner occupancy. Furthermore, mortgage repayments, but not payments of rent, have been deducted from the disposable income figures.
