To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will publish in theOfficial Report a table showing the number of occasions in each of the parliamentary Sessions from 1970 to 1989 when (a) the House of Lords carried amendments to (i) private Members' Bills and (ii) Government Bills against the advice of the Government, (b) such amendments were accepted by the Government in the House of Commons and (c) the amendments were reversed in the House of Commons and (1) the reversal was accepted by the House of Lords or (2) the House of Lords insisted on their amendments.
