Mr. JacksonAs I told the hon. Member in reply to his question of 22 May at column 369, the Department collects information on the gross salaries of individual directors and principals of PCFC sector institutions for the purposes of the teachers' superannuation scheme, but the release of this information would be incompatible with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1984. Information on subsidised housing and other fringe benefits for the directors and principals is not collected centrally.
