§ Mr. Ron DaviesTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on how many occasions in 1988 and 1989 either he, or his predecessor, or his officials, have met representatives of the Farmers Union of Wales.
§ Mr. CurryMeetings with the Farmers Union of Wales are, in the first instance, for the Secretary of State for Wales, my right hon. Friend the Member for Worcester (Mr. Walker), and his Department. However, there are occasional meetings between representatives of the union and Ministers and officials of my Department. The most recent such occasion occurred last week, when I held discussions on sheep scab.
