I understand that consultations were held throughout last year with staff about the options for the reorganisation of collections management functions at the Victoria and Albert museum.

Since the museum's announcement of 27 January I have received a number of letters about the planned reorganisation of departments of the Victoria and Albert museum.

Decisions on research into and conservation of the photographic collections of the Victoria and Albert museum are matters for the director and trustees of the museum.
