HC Deb 19 June 1989 vol 155 c52W
Ms. Walley

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what research has been done into the effects of non-ionising radiation.

Mrs. Virginia Bottomley

Wide-ranging studies have been carried out over the last 20 years in many countries, including the United Kingdom, on the biological effects of non-ionising radiation. Currently the National Radiological Protection Board is undertaking a wide-ranging review of these studies. This review should be published before the end of the year.
