§ Mr. Nicholls[holding answer 4 July 1989]: Information is collected by Training Agency area offices from training managers about qualifications being studied for, and those achieved. The information is presently being used for the monitoring of individual schemes, and is not aggregated to area office or national level. Comprehensive information (including results received after the trainee has left the programme) will be available in due course at national and local level from a follow-up survey of trainees.
