Friend the Prime Minister and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs recently had the opportunity to discuss developments in Poland, including the elections, with both General Jaruzelski and Professor Geremek of Solidarity. I, too, had the pleasure of meeting Professor Geremek. May I refer my hon. Friend to my recent statements of 6 April and 14 June, on our relations with Poland.
