§ Sir Richard BodyTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will list the member countries of the Council of Europe that have now ratified and put in effect (i) the European social charter, (ii) the European convention on social security, (iii) the European code on social security and (iv) the European convention on human rights.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe following is a list of member states of the Council of Europe which have ratified and put into effect:
(i) The European Social Charter:
Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom;(ii) The European Convention on Social Security:
Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Turkey;(iii) The European Code of Social Security:
Belgium, Denmark, France, Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom; and(iv) Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (European Convention on Human Rights):
