To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to make regulations under section 22 of the Education Act 1988 governing the supply and publication of information concerning the school curriculum.

My right hon. Friend has today issued for statutory consultations a draft of the first regulations he proposes to make under section 22. These are intended to take effect from the 1989–90 school year. Copies have been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
