To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what university research departments in the United Kingdom are carrying out projects on food poisoning funded by his Department.

Mr. Jackson

The Agricultural and Food Research Council, which receives a grant-in-aid from this Department, is supporting the following projects at universities:

November 1988 a full inspection. Only full inspection reports are placed in the Library. HMI notes of visit are internal working documents and it is not appropriate to make their contents public. I am writing to the hon. Member.
