§ Mr. YoungerAll force levels are kept under regular review, and as part of the continuing drive for cost-effectiveness, we are considering restructuring and rationalising our forces in Gibraltar and their supporting infrastructure. In particular, subject to the outcome of detailed studies, we plan to withdraw in due course all or the major part of the infantry battalion stationed there.
