§ Mr. AtkinsWe shall continue with our present initiatives of sector conferences; promoting awareness of the benefits of recycling to industry, schools and the general public; and the provision of technical advice through our Warren Spring laboratory. A series of seminars will be held throughout the United Kingdom during the next few months to promote the collection of waste paper for recycling and a conference on plastics waste and recycling is planned for September.
Where appropriate, further initiatives will be introduced.
