To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the increase in provision for the Estate Action programme for 1989–90.

§ Mr. Trippier
The Estate Action provision for 1989–90 has been increased by £40 million to £190 million, which is 36 per cent, more than the current year's provision.
