Mr. Pike

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those local authorities which have received allocations under the Estate Action funding scheme for 1988–89 and the proposals for 1989–90; and if he will indicate the figures in each case.

Mr. Trippier

At 23 January 1989, the following local authorities in the regions indicated had received allocations of extra resources under the Department's Estate Action programme for 1988–89.

For 1989–90, local authorities are currently working up their detailed proposals and allocations have not yet been made.
