To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to receive the geomorphological surveys for(a) Ventnor and (b) Luccombe; and whether he intends to publish the findings.

Mr. Chope

I expect to receive a report of geomorphological studies for Luccombe in mid-March and for Ventnor in January 1990. The results will be published as soon as possible thereafter.
