§ Mr. John PattenHome Office grant in aid to the Catholic Marriage Advisory Council in 1988–89 is £121,910. One condition of the grant in aid is that it be used in support of the headquarters unit of the organisation in order to encourage voluntary work. The other conditions are standard for Government grants and seek to ensure probity and the effective, efficient and economic use of resources.
