§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Employment (Lord Strathclyde)My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Employment has announced development funding for five Training and Enterprise Councils in the Training Agency's northern region; they are from senior groups of employers in County Durham, Northumberland, Teesside, Tyneside and Wearside. This completes the total number expected from this region.
400WAThirty-nine groups of employers throughout England have received approval for development funding. The table below sets them out.
We expect development funding to have been approved for Training and Enterprise Councils covering all of England by summer of next year.
