The authority also undertakes radioactive waste management research and development work on a commercial basis for other parts of the nuclear industry and for other Government departments. Total expenditure on radioactive waste management research and development from 1979–80 onwards is set out in the annual reports of the radioactive waste management advisory committee, copies of which have been placed in the Library.
